Upper Footprint Dependent Nipple Position to Avoid High-Riding Nipple after Reduction Mammoplasty

Introduction: High-riding nipple following reduction mammoplasty is a challenging problem for the plastic surgeons. To avoid such problem, many methods have been described marking correct position but still controversial. We aimed in this study to present our experience preventing excessive elevation after by using upper footprint set new position. Material and Methods: From March 2019 2022, 25 female patients at mean age of 38.3 years were included prospective study. They underwent with inverted T scar combination inferior pedicle Würinger’s septum techniques. Resection weights, pre- postoperative anthropometric measures recorded. All photographed follow-up visits evaluated complications if any, nipple-areola complex (NAC) sensation, subjective patient satisfaction “The Breast Evaluation Questionnaire”. Results: The preoperative midclavicular point distance was 37.40 37.18 cm right left breasts, respectively. resection weight 1270 1242 g from sides, None experienced NAC necrosis, while 2 breasts had minor wound dehiscence treated conservatively. After period 12 months, descended an average 1.40 cm, IMF increase 2.24 all satisfied esthetic outcomes convinced their breast shape. Conclusion: dependent seems real role high-riding hypertrophic gigantomastic breasts. Moreover, it can be applied easily allow more satisfying than other setting
